The unbearable has been the head-title of my work for the last 7 years. In my project "Recomposing sadness", I turn to the reconstruction we find in nature. The fact that all dead are reshaped into new life, is a basic and strong positive force, - in deep contrast to destructive actions of mankind.

In Sandnes Kunstforening , September 2018, I presented 3 botanical carts which were closeups of plants, roots and decomposers. I had also made 30 small landscape-studies, mainly forests and jungles, attempting to capture some of the lushness and strong force of growth that overpowers death. These studies also arose from an interest in natures psychological effect on us. How it offers relief and unsentimental comfort.
